Beginning the first day of school from 3:00—6:00 P.M. Karra Allen will be coordinating our after school program (A.S.A.P.). A.S.A.P. offers supervised play, homework time, computer time, healthy snacks, and special programs. Contact the school for more details.

 

Regional History Day Competition

Several St. Stanislaus Tri-Parish School students placed in the Regional History Day Competition that was held Saturday, March 14th in the Williams Conference Center at Lewis Clark State College.  Those students  who placed first or second will be eligible to compete in the State History Day Competition on April 10th at the College of Idaho in Caldwell.  The results of the regional contest are as follows:

 Youth Division – Individual Exhibit

1st Place—Sarah Ashby “Abraham Lincoln and the Emancipation Proclamation”

2nd Place—Mattie Hagestad “The Life of Leon Ray Livingston” 

Flight #2

1st Place—Madelyn Parkey “Vernon Baker: A Legacy of Valor”

2nd Place—Lauren Dillard “Hardworking Helen Freed the Disabled”

3rd Place—Jordan Larsen “Sacajawea: Actions and Legacy”

State History Day Competition Results

Mattie Hagestad - 1st place "Youth Exhibit"

Madelyn Parkey - 2nd place "Youth Exhibit", $50 Best Entry on an Idaho Topic Award, and Outstanding Entry on a Military Topic Award

 

 

Lewiston School District Mathematics Competition

The results of the Competitive Math Challenge held on March 24 and 25th at Webster Elementary are as follows:

4th Grade—Dustin McLean, Mattie Hagestad, Jordan Larson, Jonah Carpenter (McSorley) ~  3rd place in Data and Problem Solving and 4th Place in Geometry.

5th Grade—Katie Havens, Abby Kernan, Beau Melton, Matt Wren ~ 2nd place in Data and Problem Solving, 2nd place in Geometry, 1st place in Potpourri, and 2nd place overall.

6th Grade— Allie Powell, Jaclyn Schumacher, Michaela Tuell, Jessie VanBuren ~ 4th place in Data and Problem Solving, 1st place in Geometry, 2nd place in Potpourri, and 2nd place overall.

Spring 2009 M.A.P. Test Results (Grades 3 - 6)

Reading - 96% of the students scored proficient or advanced

Math - 90% of the students scored proficient or advanced

Language - 94% of the students scored proficient or advanced
